So, we hope after you read this post, you will understand the difference between them and will be able to make a right decision to know.

So let's just start the discussion:

Framing Analysis:

ü center his attention is the establishment of a text message.

ü Seeing how the messages or events constructed by the media. How journalists construct the events and submit it to the reading public.

ü Construction tends to be symbolic meaning, latent and pervasive.

ü news text contains a number of rhetorical devices that will interact with the audience in the process of memory construction of meaning.

ü The objective capture forms of media constructions of reality are presented as news.

ü studies examine issues of syntax, semantics, script, thematic, rhetorical, schematic, detail, nominalization between sentences, pronouns lexicon, graphic, metaphors, presuppositions, and so on.

Critical Discourse Analysis:

ü More emphasis on text meaning and interpretation rely on researcher interpretation. Each text interpreted differently and interpreted in various ways.

ü pretending to focus on the message latent (hidden). Meaning of a message can not be simply interpreted as what appears in the text, but should be analyzed from the hidden meaning.

ü Not only a word, or other aspect of the encoded content, but the structure of a complex discourse can be analyzed at various levels of description. Even the meaning of sentences and coherent relations between sentences were studied.

ü Do not presume to generalize with some assumptions. Because each event is unique in principle, because it can not be treated the same procedure is applied to different issues and cases.

ü The goal is to explore how "the use of the language" in the speech or writing as a form of social practice, including the practice of power.

ü studies examine discourse, ideology, representation, structure, social cognition, text, context, etc.
