First, let say about its definition. Commercial ad is an ad that purposely support marketing campaign of some product and service. 

So, in commercial ad, we could say that this ad is intentionally made to give product and service good impression in society. Commercial ad had an ultimate objective to make the society love them, or maybe just know them. This ad is difficult to do, but not impossible.

And yeah, there is some type from this ad. We will let you know. This is the various type of commercial ad:

1. Strategic Ad

This ad is being used to build a brand. The way to do that is by communicating brand value and utility from the product.

The main concern for the long term is to put the positioning from the brand and increase mind and market segment.

This ad invite the consumer to enjoy the relation with brand and also convinced them that brand is there for them.

2. Tactical Ad

This ad have an urgent objective.

This ad is designed to push the customer to make an immediate contact with some brand.

This ad generally give a special short term offer to push customer to give their respond on that same day.
